I am leading a workshop on breaking into Public Art...
If you have ever thought about trying to do a public art project - let me help to show the way.

Public Art 101
Breaking into Public Art

Topics & Discussion include –
+ Types of calls for artists (RFQ/RFP – Request for Qualifications/Proposal)
+ Creating Action/Progress plans
+ How to find opportunities (including a comprehensive list of Public Art Registries)
+ How to create your own opportunities - Through community and Guerrilla efforts
+ Public input processes & roundtables
+ Legal rights and expectations
+ and more.

You will develop proposals and take part in a videotaped mock Public
Art Selection Process. (does that make you feel nervous? - this will help you get past that!)

The classes will run six consecutive Tuesday nights starting February 26 (through April 1)
