Lapidary art and opal cutting

public - created 07/25/08
This is a tribe for those of you who love to find, cut and finish stones using whatever lapidary tools and skills you know. It os a tribe for sharing tricks and new ideas for both the art of lapidary, as well as rock-hounding, finding rough to cut, and the equipment used. It will be a place to share your gem photos, and exchange information about collecting sites, where to buy and sell, and how to reduce mistakes in deciding how to cut a particular mineral or gem. I would like to also have tribe members describe the attributes and powers of various stones to heal. Enjoy.
