Re: Otehr books to read...
Tue, July 17, 2007 - 4:17 PMOoo thanks for this. I've read all Kim Harrison and Kelly Armstrong, well actually I'm starting Exit strategy tonight. I'm always looking for new authors since I go through a book probably every two days. I can't go to sleep unless I read first.
I enjoy also some of the funny ones like Mary Janice Davidson's Betsy series. -

Re: Otehr books to read...
Tue, July 17, 2007 - 4:21 PMI've had several people tell me about her but I haven't delved into that yet. There are so many books on my shelves that I have to read I'm trying really hard not to buy any new ones. Sigh... it's so hard. :-( I can add more to this list when I get home. :-) Take a look at my library pic in my profile and you'll see my dilema. OK, so lots of books isn't really a dilema but you know what I mean. ;-)

Re: Otehr books to read...
Tue, July 17, 2007 - 7:15 PMThank you for the list. As I have said before we are building a new house (I will have a whole 20 foot wall full of book cases), and every penny I have to save so I am not able to buy new books. We have moved into a new small town (500 people or so). I am checking out the library on Friday so I am excited that I will have a list of books to look for.
Now for an odd question since y'all read a lot of fatacy and si-fi dose any one know of a writer who writes fantacy's about a girl in love with shifters but the shifter is a dragon. He is leader/king of the green dragons. In the book I read she went to a confrence and met the green dragon agein (she was not happy about it but they had sex any way) and she deals with the ghosts of a nun (or a few). It has been over two years since I have read the book and I can not remember the auther or the title or the series. So needless to say I am stuck. Help me if you can.
Thanks y'all.

Re: Otehr books to read...
Tue, July 17, 2007 - 9:29 PMThe Author is Katie McAllister and the series is the Aisling Grey, Guardian series
You Slay me
Fire Me Up
Light my fire
and there is a 4th due out soon. I loved those because they have that great sense of humor thing going on. They are in the romance section. -

Wed, July 18, 2007 - 6:05 PMThank you, thank you, thank you, thank you.
You know the terible thing about it? My dang maden name is McAllister (no lie) I should have remembered her name. Well her last name any way. I loved the one that I read it was so good but I was never able to get back and find more of them. As I said the other day I am makeing a trip to the library Friday (if I can make myself leave the house) and so I have all kinds of authers to look for. I am so excited. Did I remember to say thank you? ;)
Happy reading y'all
Lee Anne
Oh and the draw that I am useing to make myself leave the house is The Harlequen. I am hopeing our little library that is only open 3 days a week will have it. Did I mention how small of a town this is?

Re: Otehr books to read...
Tue, July 17, 2007 - 8:55 PMWow, I have a LOT of reading to do... I've only read two of hers, and I recall Doyle from them.. I couldn't tell you which books I read though, but I do recall one of them being about her visiting with an Actress of some sort.
I was enthralled, I just never think about picking one of hers up.. What is the next best one?
Also, Christine Feehan has some interesting supernatural books.. I'll have to compile a list of good ones...
It's the Supernatural Thriller book reads association...lol

Re: Otehr books to read...
Wed, July 18, 2007 - 1:44 AMI would also recommend anything by Storm Constantine especially any of the Wraeththu mythos if you are into the image of gorgeous androgynous boy type relationships. Kind of hard to find her stuff in actual bookstores but Amazon has a lot of it. -
