SATURDAY, November 10th, 4 HOUR Specialty Class!!
COST: $25 in advance, $30 at the door the day of.
CONTENT: 2 hours: SIGNATURE STEPS OF THE EGYPTIAN STARS: Shakira has been privileged to study directly with
Mona el Said, Dina, Najwa Fou’ad, Nadia Hamdii, Farida Fahmy and others. Through her extensive ‘movement training’, she
will share with us a clear explanation of what Dina is “really” doing with her butt, among other things and a sampling of the
signature steps that ooze Star Quality, enhance your show, and convince your audiences you “must” be Arabic. Classic steps
of ‘golden age’ stars and others will be included.
2 hours: DANCE DYNAMICS - THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOOD AND GREAT: What makes the difference between the
average show and one that makes you think, “Wow, she was amazing?” Between the dancer whose show doesn’t quite stay
with you and the one you can’t forget? And why isn’t that dancer who seemed so fiery and fast, or did all that layering,
memorable? Probably because of dynamics. Dynamics can help you fill in what you might be missing and know what NOT to
do. When you know what these are and how to work with them, everything you do will be interesting, and nothing will be flat!
Learn the secrets to being the dancer audiences can’t get out of their heads. Don’t be “just another dancer” ever again!!
