For those curious... Liberation Movement update

Hello Friends,

Liberation Movement is not performing individual gigs this year, but only playing as a piece of Heavyweight Dub Champion at select shows. We are hard at work at our debut album and hope to have it finished later this year. We will be back to touring next year and definitely pushing the Liberation Movement forward on all fronts. The album is coming along nicely and we are excited about the tracks and possibilities.

There is a Meeting of the Kindred Spirits coming up March 29th! And
we do need to see some more Positive well integrated Female Energy in
this group who can work closely with others.

We are still looking to organize a group of volunteers to
help out some good folks one day out of the week, with some
organic gardening and we still do need someone to take Minutes
at the next meeting.

It would be possible, I would think, if there is a single female or
two out there who is cool about living closer to the Earth then
I may be able to provide a place for you to live, for
maybe 6 months out of the year up where I live in Northern
California.

If you can simply come to our next meeting on March 29th. - T

Earthdance... 2007

Thank you for those who participated with us and HDC crew at Earthdance. We are very sorry about the situation that happened in the Dome, but they do have sound ordinances in the Hog Farm area and, unfortunately, LM became the victim that night. Thanks to all those who came to support there and at the Diner Divine on Sat. Night!!! Chris Decker and the Earthdance Promotion HQ said they would make up the sound issue problems for us by giving us a great slot next year, so... stay tuned!!!

Liberation Movement & Heavyweight Dub Champion - Fall Tour!

Liberation Movement will be appearing as a compartment inside most Heavyweight Dub Champion performances this fall. We will be posting exact dates soon. As a symbol of growth of the Champion Nation Collective, many shows this fall will have LM, Totter and Patch involved in HDC shows expressing the diversity of all their solo projects. Heavyweight Dub Champion will be the flagship representation of the Champion Nation Clan. We are very excited about this growth process and it should make for interesting audience experiences. We will eternally be looking for your participation in helping to Liberate all dormant humanity and creative consciousness in this Liberation Movement. Reggae Rising

Liberation Movement is excited to announce that we will be performing with HEAVYWEIGHT DUB CHAMPION at Reggae Rising on August 3. Last year's Reggae On The River performance was one of the most epic in HDC's ten year history. This year Reggae On The River is being called Reggae Rising for political reasons.

Liberation Movement at EarthDance and Symbiosis!!!

Liberation Movement will be performing in the Dome at EarthDance in a slot similar to the epic late night we had as HDC two years ago. HDC will also be performing 2 sets at EarthDance this year. We are very excited about being a part of one of the most positive festivals in the world and supporting the work of Chris Decker and cohorts!!!

Liberation Movement will also be performing at Symbiosis this September and are also very pleased to be a part of this incredibly creative and positive festival.

Thank you for everyone who came out to support LM this past week in our three gigs in San Francisco!

Jillian Ann joins Champion Nation Community

The Champion Nation Community is proud to welcome Jillian Ann to our collective. Jillian is one of the more popular independent artists on myspace (myspace/jillianann33) and offers an excellent example of how much visibility can be created through independent channels. She has released 4 albums herself ("The Fallen", "Beta", "Eden", and "Neverland") and self promoted herself to international acclaim. She is a singer and producer often focusing energies on overcoming programming. She has a long history in the independent entertainment industry starting modeling at the age of 5. She rose to underground international stardom when she became one of the world's top fetish models. For a period, she worked in the mainstream modeling circuit while living in Milan, Italy. She now models occasionally for independent artists all over the world, but her main focus has always been her music. A new ambient/chillout album is soon to be available through Champion Nation called "Punk Meditations". She has joined forces with Resurrector to create Liberation Movement, a powerful force in the world of underground electronic dance music. As with all of Champion Nation, the goal of Liberation Movement is the absolute and total liberation of consciousness. The debut album is in the works and will be available later this year.

Jillian and Resurrector have been touring the West on what became "The Ski Tour" where they have been playing alongside Michael Franti, The Wailers, Sean Paul, Blackalicious, Swollen Members, and many others. Recently they also performed at the Boulder Theater in Colorado with Mad Professor and Dr. Israel.

The Liberation Movement live experience is a work in progress, but follows the Sonic Shamanistic Alchemy created by Resurrector and Patch of Heavyweight Dub Champion. The methods are similar, although the final product is quite different. Stero-Lion has also come on board to add his declarations of Champion Nation Liberation Power. In terms of genres, a musical parameter defining system that we don't support, Liberation Movement has been described as "Primal Acid Dubtronica" - whatever that means.
