Anyone have any advice for good sugar substitutes, especially for maple syrup and honey. Good stuff to sweeten up waffles and put in tea? What about that sevia stuff?

Tue, November 21, 2006 - 11:04 AMIf you get good stevia, it works quite well- you only need a tiny bit. I get the Kal brand, and it comes with a tiny little scoop- this is exactly what I use in my tea. It isn't honey, but I have grown fond of it!
cheers! -

Tue, November 21, 2006 - 6:37 PMIf you are trying to avoid sugar spikes, the stevia's good. I also use Splenda for the same reason. No sugar response, no insulin response. -
