The words I got were pretty close to that, delivered in the worst method ever. Didn't help. :( Limerence is internal is generated.

LOL Um, nope I was not drunk when I wrote that previous entry... Let me try it again.

The words that were written to me were pretty close to "it will never be" and it was delivered by the worst/cruellest method *ever*. It didn't help. I was still limerent. Limerence, at least mine, was internally generated. Nothing external to my head and heart could stop it.
  • “When someone is searching,” said Siddhartha, “then it can easily happen that the only thing his eyes see is that for which he is searching. He is then unable to find anything or let any thought enter his mind because he always thinks of nothing but the object of his search. He is obsessed by a goal; searching means having a goal. But finding means: being free, open, and having no goal. You, O venerable one, are perhaps indeed a seeker, because, in striving for your goal, there are many things that you don't see, even though they are right in front of your eyes.”
  • Thats very close to what I got, and has it gotten rid of it? No. Because I didn't believe it.
    • He never said "I don't want you" either...
He wrote that his wife was his soulmate and she'd be the only woman in his life
He wrote "there is no chemistry" but somehow didn't finish with "...between us"

It seems like the only way it could end is if the person says, "I don't feel attracted to you and I don't want to be with you, ever". Even then as Una said could still be a lie lol
  • Not sure it helps (be looked dead in the eyes and told "it will never be...) , arguably it may make limerence worse.
What works for me is the passage of time and a continuous stream of 'exciting' life events. It helps if you get distracted by someone else as well and also helps when you start becoming disgusted by your soon-to-be former LO because the halo effect disappears. This is what is happening to me... What happened not so long ago, I got very busy with many things, and for some reason, the imbecilities of the LO became more and more apparent. Everytime I saw her and heard her speak I cringed, almost made me wanna puke. How this transformation happened I don't know exactly (it happened to me before with others, overnight my love would turn into indifference or repulsion...).
