The magic of synaptic awareness
the unlikelihood of consciousness
Dreams, visions, reveries,
ineffable emotions
too dear to deny.
I see, smell, taste
chemical reactions,
hear reverberating air.
There is no limit
but that I impose
strict chanting and ritual
keeps reality in line.
