Most of you know that my boyfriend, Liam, has no interest in bellydance.

It's not that he thinks it's stupid or anything. It's because he's been working the Renaissance Festival circuit for about 12 years and has seen more than his fair share of bad belly dancing and girls dressed up badly like belly dancers. So, he's a little jaded. And I've never really made him come to the shows.

He watched the video and said, "Is it over?"
Me (trying not to cry): "Ummmm.....Yeah"
Liam: "That was the best belly dancing I've ever seen. I didn't want it to be over."
