This benefit, put on by the new local Birdhouse non-profit, is part of a mission "to celebrate the American Midwest through its music and arts." This will culminate with the Bluebird Music & Arts Festival in November of this year, and will feature numerous bands both locally and nationally renowned, all with Midwestern roots. Tonight's benefit will feature several local acts kicking off the fundraising for Columbia's newest festival. Featuring Casey Reeves, Seth Ashley (formerly of Ellie Come Home), Celandine, Joe Stickley's Blueprint and special guest appearances by Lizzie West, Baba Buffalo and friends...just in from the Holy Road.
