Hi Everyone -
My finance and I going to be getting married in May and the song we have chosen for our first dance is Chariots Rise from the Secretary movie. We would much prefer to play the version of the song from the movie as the lyrics, and the meaning behind them, so closely mirror what we feel. Is there a way to get a copy of the movie version of the song? Naturally we would be happy to pay for it as a download, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Just wanted to follow up on this. I sent Lizzie an email regarding your question, but they are busy in the recording studios in CA right now, and haven't gotten a chance to do much else. I'll let you know when I hear something back.

I just wanted to follow up on this and see if there was any way we could get this to happen soon. We are getting married on May 24th, so it would be nice to have it by May 15 so we can add it to our audio mix for our ceremony. If not, I totally understand as I know how busy artists get once they are in the studio.
We both really appreciate even having our request considered.

My fiance and I are getting married in October and we are also planning on dancing to Chariots Rise and would love to have the movie version of this song as my fiance would prefer to have grace rather than be a fool (haha) and we came to know and love the song primarily from being such fans of the movie. It looks like it's too late for James (congrats btw!) but if there's any chance it's still possible to get the movie version please let me know. We would also be more than happy to purchase an .mp3 of the song. Thanks so much for taking the time to check on this!

Baba said they've had numerous requests for this version but he doesn't think that it's available. But he'll just double check since it seems to be something that folks want.

The future hubby and I are in the same situation, this time for May 24, 2009!!! This track resonates with us massively, and we know it will be so stirring as to make everybody cry at our first dance as a married couple. It is the PERFECT song to transform our celebration into a blubbering mass of passion and love. Anything that you could do to help us acquire it would be hugely appreciated.
