Thank you to the Locked team for tonight's outstanding first Locked party.
And it was blessed with high quality work by all the volunteers, and an outstanding group of attendees.
This was one of the most civilized kink parties we've attended.
Wonderful energy.
And it drew a large and diverse attendance from many of the sub-communities.
People came from all over Northern California.
There were too many for us to talk with everyone we wished.
This group will provide a fine nucleus to keep up the energy at future Locked parties.
One of the wise choices was to impose only a few protocol rules, and these _between_ leather families.
We've learned the hard way that it doesn't seem to work as well for a party to impose party rules that apply _within_ other people's existing relationships.
Looking forward to the next one, October 18th, and the next theme.
We'd love to hear other people's experiences.

I think the very few rules were well chosen, and I think the entire situation worked well, though I was a bit bewildered in a couple of cases about whether I was allowed by the rules to talk to someone--you know, people who usually are seen as submissive, but were working or otherwise facilitating the party.
I think it worked beautifully, and it was so...gracious is the only word that comes to mind. Everyone was working within the etiquette established and it was so beautifully done. Sunny's tea was exquisite, and felt so cherished that she made a point of serving me. (I knew space was limited, so I had felt it was better to let those who didn't ordinarily get the chance to be served tea to have the area. I have to say that I feel that Sunny, Mikey, Bethie and all are a great credit to our tea class.
The party went off seamlessly. I am certainly planning to attend the next one.

We had planned to go, but it's usually almost impossible for us to get anywhere on a Friday night before at least 9pm because of work schedules and little things like needing to eat dinner. By that time, we usually just don't feel like budging.

I had a genuinely lovely time. It was refreshing to see others 1) in costume and 2) actually into protocol! Protocol gets me hot!
The short class before the party was informative and the tea was excellent. We met some folks we hadn't met before. Thank you to everyone involved. We will certainly be attending the next event. -

Thank you to all that made it happen, our party hosts, presenters and to the guests that created an evening that was lovely and amazing. I want to personally thank Iain for the challenge to us all to avoid negative conversation. I believe that could be a challenge to carry forward. I found that I learned more about my peers by opening the conversation to more lively and exciting things.
My experience at Locked was easily as transformative as my first Masters Den party. As a submissive who is known as a bit of a social butterfly, it was a new experience for me to forego that ability and be involved on a new level that required more focus and intent.

I really made us wish there was a Victorian-focused fetish group here, as I know some of the people in attendance felt fully in their element in that setting like never before (I was one of them!).
It really was an excellently planned, wonderfully executed party-- we can't thank the Locked group enough for taking the time to put it together! -

I know there are some in the south bay that would be interested. Anyone here think it is a good idea? -

If you build it they will come. I think the attendance would be very high. I know I would be sending my little girl but it's literally imposable to keep her away from anything you are involved in. She loves her some Domina. -

Here, here! I'm also thankful to the hosts for coming up with the idea of how best to provide space for each household's protocol.
From the class, to the cucumber sandwiches, to the comportment of the party-goers, I tip my hat to you all.
And I am extremely proud of my boi & boy. Both were of service to the party, as well as to me. Both carried themselves gracefully and within their roles. I know the atmosphere & energy of the event brought out the best in us.
