Quincy, not sure yet. Good looker, kinda seems to be not presenting it all though.

I did see the boss' wife thing causing Eddie to lose his job. That was visible from last week.

However disturbing the beatdown was, I was reminded again that being Gay is not something that everyone can agree with. It is up to each of us to know how to defend ourselves against bashers. The can of mace was a starter, walking away would have been the right choice in that scenario (3 vs 1), but when you have no choices left except to fight or get beaten, I hope I have the strength to take at least one of the bastards out with something more than a can of mace! Always remember that bullies fear nothing more than the sight of their own blood.

Well, I did not see Guy being as much of a psycho as he turns out to be. Dude is gonna cut his own hand to make Trey forget about the NBA game? It seems to indicate that while Trey might be interested in Guy somewhat, he has no idea what he would be getting into. I guess that the comparisons will start between Alex and Guy as to which is better/worse :)

Chance seems to me calming things down with Eddie, but now he will have to deal with Kenya, the little manipulator. I could not get her recitation of what the boy said out of my head. Sounds almost like she rehearsed that one! Chance will probably let her off the hook because she said what he wanted to hear, but we will see.

Noah finally grew a set this week!! Not sure why it took so long to finally be a man to someone else, but at least he put some bass in his voice when he read Brit-dude. It does figure that Brit would find that a turn on and end up as a closeted homo-thug. And of course, Noah drug Wade into all this. I noticed the look that Dre gave Wade when he had finished talking to Noah, and the text message he sent to Wade must be important somehow even though it seems innocent enough. Quinn was really laying it on thick, he has the obligatory new character "hots" for Noah, but will probably disappear too soon. Missing Malik already.

Ricky! I sense disaster here. Puppy love rears its head as Ricky falls madly in love after all. The vanity showed when Junito did not respond instantly to his message. Ricky is insecure and that will probably lead to another plot twist.

The preview looks great for next week, cannot wait to see it.

Well I am really starting to wonder what is going on with Guy, Part of me thinks that next week we will find Alex asleep in his bed having dreamed that entire sequence. Hard to believe that Guy would just up and say that to him unless Alex is changing from the "I Love Lucy" type character always into madcap schemes and we are moving into the Joan Crawford-esque film noir psychological romance type thing ("They are trying to drive me crazy").

Kudos to Noah for at reading Ricky. Ricky can sleep around with everyone and pretend that HIV and AIDS are not a threat, but in reality he just doesn't want to face the fact that he has no way of knowing who is safe and who isn't when he himself isn't.

Chance, shame on you for interrupting that "girl talk" in the kitchen! Take off the apron for good and go find T-Money again!

Noah.....again with the flaming, but I have grown used to it. I still recommend everyone watch the pilot episode on Disc 3 of the Season 1 collection for a more realistic Noah. Obviously Noah has his heart set on getting Wade back (where is Malik?) but DAYUM, Quinn is one fine Kentucky brotha (wish I had met one like that growing up there).

Noticed that during the meeting with the Brandy and the guy that Noah went along with everything that was suggested on the surface, then cries about having to write str8 characters later. Remember when Wade accused him of not being able to write other characters in Season 1? Just an interesting thought since Noah disagreed with Wade at that time (The Lady doth protest too much).

Still enjoying the show and looking forward to some more plot twists and turns. Does anyoone know how many episodes this season contains? Still digesting the show and not sure where these things are going yet. But it is a blasst to think about what might come next :)
I was lovin that Trey and Alex are back to regular lovin and seemed to be back on track...but I don't trust Guy....there is something shady brewing, not quite sure whats goin down, but Guy is not to be trusted.

I see definite problems with Eddie and Chance....Eddie treats Chance like a caretaker rather than a second parent to Kenya....she was "their daughter" when Chance needed to do something for her, but Eddie made a point of stressing "I'm the real father, he's just watching her"...wrongness------

Kudos to Raz B-----I give him props for his first dramatic acting gig....he did his thing, and he's a cutey.

I like that Ricky is trying to mature and follow his heart but I don't think its very realistic ...i want it to work , but I don't think it will...

Now on to Poor Noah---he so obviously still loves wade, but realizes he's f*cked up a good thing......Wade still loves him too but his pride and his hurt feelings won't let him give in to his feelings. kudos(sorta) to Dre for a level of maturity that I don't think many could aspire (inviting the Ex over for dinner when there is obviously still some unresolved issues)....but I actually think he's doin the whole keep your friends close and your enemies closer thing. Judging from the previews, Dre is no dummy, he's playing the good understanding boyfriend, but at the same time it looks like he's gonna find Noah a man to keep him away from Wade.
lovin the season but i truly wish it was an hour long show...30 minutes is not enough.

He was gay and the only other out one in the family other than myself and both Rodney and Bobbie bare striking resemblence to each other. In short; the character of Alex remind her of Bobby. So I HAD to his autograph for her and speak for her to him and tell him that she appreciates his show and it's portayl of smart educated gay black men.

He signed a piece of paper and gave me a hug...and then even winked and nudged at me on the dance floor as he left with a nod of appreciation. My remarks were put out there and can only hope he carries that with him as he shoots seasons 2. My mother loves this show...she was so stoked...beyond belief when i told her the story. she said i should have told him " My mother thinks your boyfriend on the show is fine....is he gay too?" hahaha. Nope....i said back to her hahaha. I dont think that would have gone over well.

2 or three weeks back I saw the actor who plays Noah at Hot Dog, passing through the dance floor. We met face to face. He smiled. He looks so sos o damn skinny in person. But very cute.

It's official. "Noah's Arc," the popular Logo television series, has been picked up for a second season. So says director Patrik-Ian Polk. And there won't be any controversy with the Nation of Islam interrupting the filming like last time. The production is moving to Canada to start filming in Vancouver in May. The network has ordered eight episodes, which will begin airing August 9.

The producers have already been seen scouting locations in Vancouver and meeting with potential crew. Here in the U.S. we're still waiting for that first season DVD and for the first season episodes on ITunes, which we were told would happen in January. And we'll be watching and hoping for an even better season come August.

So....after years of hearing about this film...since i was 12! I finally saw this documentary by way of Logo. It was amazing and actually filled in some voids i had with "gay history". I would watch In Living Colors "men On Film" sketches and not "get" the "learn it and Learn it well"..."Chantey. Chantey" refrences.... Or had no idea what "reading" was...... hahaha.... or where Madonna stole the Vogue ...Mystery solved!

But at it's core it had alot to say about White privilage and it's influence on poor gay minorities. It opened up alot of doors in that sense..... and some scenes were wonderfully textured.

I thought i'd ask what others thought of this film.

I saw a LOGO news report on Sundance and that those profiled in the film were not happy with their representation by the director and felt used.

There was one very heartbreaking scene where one guy talked about his wish for fame and his want to take the "vogue" across the globe.

hrmmm. A weathier more prominent white woman did that for you, babe. and when i think of the vogue I do not think poor ethnic queer new yorkers ...I think wealthy dancers.... i think Madonna. What a cunt.

She did the same shit with the Krump?? Im now informed.

I've been a viewer strangely since day one. I say strangely because, I didn't think i would necessarily like a 24 hour gay cable network, thinking it would be cliche, monochrome, and plastic. All of which are present in some of LOGO's programs. But astonishingly, the network is ethinically diverse, and caters to both Lesbians and gay men in seemingly equal amounts. I had concerns that Lesbians would be left out.... or only a certain type of lesbian would be present.... same gay men....and black men.... for the most part the network is diverse. I have some peeves but for what its worth it's amazingly quality programming. Especially the documentaries.

Butch Mystique was extremely fascinating to me. A peek into not only the lives of lesbians... (I'll be the first to admit...I've never had a lesbian friend...it just never came up)...but ETHNIc lesbians...and particular aspects were discussed that had me completely ....enthralled. I really loved the documentary "daddy and papa" and one docu about teenagers who were raised by queer parents.

I now think alec Mapa is THE funniest queer comic i've ever heard. And really would like to see him...and expose myself to more queer comedy. And lastly, LOGO's music vid's between shows and hour long blocks called new, now, Next have impeccable taste... proving gay men and lesbians have graet taste in everything including music.

Sleater kinney...after Goldfrapp....after Bloc Party...after Zero 7 ..... fucking awesoome..anmd here i thought Melissa etheridge, Indigo Girls, Rupart wainwright...all the usual suspects. This was refreshing. This channel defys alot of my expectations at times.
