Outdoor Hooping

Hello everyone,

I have been hooping secretly indoors for the past few months and as the weather gets nicer I am keen to move outdoors and get some fresh air!
I would feel like a bit of a dick practising on my own, and wondered if anyone ever meets up to play together in the park?
I'm not very good yet, by the way!
I hate not having a garden, I have VERY limited space in my little flat and need to be outdoors so I can throw myself around!

    Hi Helen,

I'm hoping to entice people out into various parks for some hooping.
I'll turn up with hoops and music and hopefully others will come and join me! Last year was a bit of a washout, although we did have a few fun sessions, so hopefully this is something we can coordinate and have happen regularly. The Sunday Hoop Club was born of my frustration at not being able to hoop outdoors due to cold or wet weather.
Let's hope we get a summer this year so we can all hoop it up in the sunshine!!

The former synergy spinners group are hanging out in Battersea park. I met Alex this weekend at the Camden Green Fair and he said that it starts at 7 - 9pm. I have no more details as yet but will pass them on when he contacts me next.

I'm a hooper from the Southeast, I want to play in a park, I think there are too many scuff marks on the wall! Any more details on Camden?
