I'm being sent to London on a week long course from 26th-30th Jan - any hooping classes/events I could come along to? I think I'll be staying in Southwark, but will be happy to travel away from Premier Travel Inn hell.....

Re: lonely hooper!
Tue, November 25, 2008 - 8:55 AMHi Amanda!
I live south of London, but work in central - Oxford Circus. Southwark's easy for me to get to from home - I just hop on a train to London Bridge, then along the Jubilee tube line to Southwark. And also easy from work - I can go from Oxford Circus along the Victoria line to Green Park, then switch to the Jubilee line again (but from the other direction) to Southwark....wow, London commuting every day has really embedded itself into my mind...
Anyway, if you want, we could meet up for some hooping :-) It's always nice to make new friends. I've got a whole list of things I'd like to do over December/January/February, so once I've got my list straightened out, I'll show it to you, and then perhaps you could come along on some things! :D -

Re: lonely hooper!
Fri, December 5, 2008 - 12:07 PMHey girlies,
I live in Pimlico and work around Westminster - but a mere couple of stops to Southwark/London Bridge
I too, wouldn't mind meeting up for a hoop or few! :o)
And if you want to come along to a class, there's one run by Anna D. in Camberwell on Mondays (my regular) or HoopBlast on Tues/Weds around New Cross / S. London. If you're on Facebook, have a look for the London Hula Hoopers group which lists most London Hooping classes available.
Hope to see you soon!
