Just wanted to share the news that Safi's back in Camden. I ran into his new shop spot the other day in Stables Market which is not far off from where he used to be. The exact 'address' is 402-403 Stables Market, located in the 'basement' area. More specifically, if you're between Marrakesh (the Moroccan shisha cafe) and the food stall area, directly in front of you, there'll be a humungous horse head statue with steps leading down to a lower area. Follow that down, his shop's to the right - you can't miss it... or just look for the pillar of shoes ;).

He's still in the midst of organizing the shop, but he's got loads of stock - a variety of belts, circular beaded embellishments, pendants, tassels and the other bits'n'bobs from his old shop. He told me that he'll be here for the next three weeks, and then he's back to Afghanistan for Ramadan but someone will be around to look after the shop. And as per usual, if you mention that you're a belly dancer, he'll 'give you a good price'.
