Spending time with other people

Of course, being a loner means you spend as much time alone as you can... I do it, too. If I didn't, I wouldn't feel at home in this tribe. That would be especially ironic since I started it. :)

Question ... When you absolutely, positively have to be around other people, do you do what you can to enjoy yourself or do you do what you have to do until such a time that you can leave?

As time goes on ...

I'm caught in a paradox. Of course, "no man is an island" and all that good stuff ... My problem is that I have chosen a craft that I think can make me some money somewhere along the way ... but I have to sell it. Selling it involves being around people ... most of whom I will not like and certainly won't want to be around. Perhaps they can "read" this in me and this is why I have so many problems selling my wares. Who knows?

Either way ... what kind of conflicts do you face being a loner?

Welcome

Hello and welcome to this tribe.

This is my first attempt at starting and/or moderating a tribe. I like to think I have been in enough tribes for a long enough period of time to know and/or understand how things are supposed to go ... and will do the best job that I can to be sure things go that way. Of course, I'm human and will make mistakes ... but the goal isn't to be perfect for me. The goal is to continue learning, especially about people and the things they think and feel.

Thanks for joining. :)
