Does anybody here have good advice or want together to teach a sister how to knit in the double cirular needle way? I've been hearing it's the new way to avoid using double pointed needles (which I don't use either). So of course the project I really really want to do right now requires them (arm warmers) and although I've been following the online directions, it just doesn't seem right.
Does this group intend to get together for stitch and bitch? Cuz I'd love that!

Re: Need double circular needle help!
Mon, November 14, 2005 - 11:55 AMi was hoping that once we grew in size that those who are interested will initiate a gathering here or there. so whenever it happens, it´ll happen. i`m still in buenos aires on vacation, so it won´t be happening for me any time soon. but yeah, i´m game to meet with others!

Re: Need double circular needle help!
Sat, November 26, 2005 - 1:18 PMI've actually worked with both double pointed needles and circular needles and it would be really difficult to make arm warmers with circular needles due to the circumference needed. for more narrow circular work such as arm warmers, I think double pointed needles are the best. I'm down for the stitch and bitch and am willing to host, but it's in Valley Village.
I believe what can be done is that a stitch and bitch would have to rotate so people are close to their locale half the time and vice-versa.
