I believe we have agreed to have the first get together at Kashmir's. (Kashmir... please e-mail us the address/directions).

I can pick up some chips and salsa to bring and a couple of 2 liters of soda. I will also pick up a pack of paper plates and a pack of cups. Don't want Kashmir to have to do a whole bunch of dishes. -

Fri, December 2, 2005 - 2:37 PM*Don't let this change everyone else's opinion*, but my 2 cents is that these meetings shouldn't be on weekends. I like week days-- Mon., Tues., Wed. or Thurs. nights. Only because weekend nights are when, if I'm not working, I want to go out on dates and random things like that. Also, if you are generous enough to host a meeting, I want to make sure that you need not contribute anything but your place to make it easy on you (unless you WANT to do something more), so food, drink and utensils and stuff can be covered by others. But let's not get carried away with all of that-- it's about the stitchin' and the meeting-up with one another that's the focus. What do you think? -

I have bunches of plates also - but one thing - because I dance in my living room I have no chairs - I can rent some no problem - but I need to have a total head count. Yay!! very excited to meet everyone! -

If you're gracious enough to host this 1st meeting for the benefit of all who can make it, I'm sure no one will complain about lounging on the floor. And if the floor is uncomfortable it will give us reason to call it our first Stitch & Bitch.
I for one can make it on Wednesday. Wed. Dec. 7th, yeah? -

as for seating... I was just given 6 throw pillows that I can bring. They are not big but if anyone thinks the floor will be too hard they can use them.

Mon, December 5, 2005 - 12:38 PMYay - so I guess this wednesday will be our first meeting at my place. If you ladies could bring either chairs or pillows we should be allright. I have 3 chairs at home also so we might not need extra depending on who's coming out. One thing - can we make it for 7:30?? I just want to give myself plenty of time to get home in case there is traffic, I'd hate to have everyone waiting for me on my porch. Can't wait to meet everyone!!
