We are an intentional community and nonprofit educational center dedicated to learning, living, and teaching sustainable, ecologically-based culture. Located on 87 acres of gardens, meadows, forests, pond, and creek just 20 minutes outside Eugene, Oregon. We steward this land and produce enough vegetables to provide a large portion of the produce needed by the community and educational center. In addition to our own apprenticeships and workshops (like our Ecovillage and Permaculture Design Course and the Heart of Now), we frequently host conferences, retreats, and workshops presented by organizations that share our vision.
The mission of Lost Valley Educational Center is to create and foster mutually beneficial relations between humans and all parts of the web of existence. We believe that these relationships provide a means to well-being as well as survival.
This tribe is for all those who have lived with and fallen in love with our community, or whose personal vision is aligned with our commitment to a thriving, cooperative, sustainable culture.
