Happy New Year and Hello student and dancers! As promised, below is a list of upcoming 2007 workshops.

PRIVATE LESSON STUDENTS
Now that the move is complete and the dust is settling....
I will begin booking private lessons beginning January 17th. Current available lesson days are Wednesdays and Fridays in Baltimore 12noon to 6pm. Other days are available and in my private studio, please inquire privately via email.

***'WICKED' Drumsolo Choreography! ***
The creme de la creme of drum solo. Lotus takes a "wicked" drum solo song and adds spice to stir it up. Always the audience's favorite, the drum solo is a fun and essential part of the bellydance routine. Never be afraid of complex and complicated drum solos again! Freedom! Take the mystery out of complex hipwork, layered shimmies, expression and add some new elements that will take your audience by surprise! Tame the drum solo! ***Lotus Niraja's "Raks Modern Classique" Choreography***
Learn a choreography performed by Lotus Niraja. One of her most requested Raks Sharki dances. A mixture of classical movements mixed with the fresh current stylings of modern Egypt.This multi-level workshop will focus on stylistic foundation and transitional breakdowns. ***Lebanese/Egyptian Techniques and Combinations***
Core Technique Class fashioned as a Refresher course with NEW techniques and combinations. Take these new moves and put them into your dancing for clean, professional looking results! Date: Sunday, April 29th, 2007 Location: Studio A Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm Fee: $55

***Shimmies, Hipwork and Transitions in All One Move!***
This workshop will focus shimmies combined with hip work, locks, pops and accents. Learn to use muscular control to get the most bang for your buck. Learn also to relax the body and dance without strain. Transitions include patterns, weight balance and level changes. Date: Sunday, May 20th, 2007 Location: Studio At Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm Fee: $55

***Moving with Stillness and Grace Can it be done?***
Can you move with fluidity and still express your body while dancing? Come and learn the quiet strength and graceful beauty and how to seamlessly fuse these movements together with bellydance isolations and transitions.
