Well, it's a little late ... but I am in the process of 'getting' the company I work for. We are on a load that's a pain in the ass - heavy and tippy. They send us, via computer, which roads they want us to take to get our loads to their desitnations. But I have my own computer and tripmaking software. So I hated the backroads routes they chose for me so I said f**ch that! And I rerouted myself, going all interstates. The best part is that I am just going to play dumb. "What? OH!!! Whoops! I didn't see that I was supposed to take those back roads!" It's really fun to just say screw it and do things your own way, isn't it? I have been driving truck for over 10 years now and it just makes me feel ... stupid to do things the way they say when I know that they have no idea what they are doing - the people who choose these routes have never driven a truck!!!
