Love Army Virgin?

Okay, so I'm going to Burning Man for the first time this year, and I am STOKED beyond belief. I ran across the Love Army, and I'm very very interested...what's the deal exactly? It feels weird to ask a community of veterans about it, but I'm curious and excited to hear about the Army!

    last year was my first year too - i had more fun with love army than i had in my own camp.

    definitely worth joining these guys for some missions!

    Hey Angel!

    Love Army is more of a concept than an actual camp on the playa. Missions are created and assigned here in this Tribe and members, from various camps, command love and joy all over Burning Man. The powers that be had a headquarters for LA which acted as a rally point but there was no place to pitch your tent, if that's what you're looking for. Don't know if that'll be different this year.

      Hello Angel...
      Last year was my first year as well. I feel Captin Sassy Pants summed it up well. I also had an amazing time with all the people I met at Love Army. There is so much going on all the time and so many people to meet from all walks of life...but I figured I could not go wrong by meeting up with people whose recognized commenalities and agenda is to spread Love to others. I will never forget all the smiles, sharing, laughter, hugs, greeting experiences and connections that going to the Love army gave me. Thank You too all who have continued to participate in this universally amazing concept!!! Angel...I will look forward to meeting you on the playa this year...

    This year we are trying something a bit different, which will be a special one night mission involving the entire Love Army. We will still be enrolling soldiers via camp Kiosk ™. Check back here in a few days and it will all be clear.
