getting to know you part 3

topic posted Thu, July 19, 2007 - 1:09 AM by  jennjenn

where is the kinkiest place you have ever "done it?"

if you were an animal, which would you be and why?

are you better at expressing your true feelings verbally or in writing?

do you believe in meeting "the one?"

do you think it's important to share a spiritual connection with your romantic partner?

and finally, how would you compare your view of yourself, to the view others seem to have of you?

    oops... okay

B)Id be a kitty! Soft and cuddly. likes attention. but is fiesty when pissed off-

    C) Im pretty comfortable expressing my feelings verbally. :)

D)I know Ive met THE ONE- so im a believer!

    E) The spritiual connection is what bonds you beyond your wildest beliefs- Theres no limits - no inhibitions. Just free love

    F) I think im more shy and insecure than most perceive. Most think because I stand tall - Its arrogance which is far off from who I am.

where is the kinkiest place you have ever "done it?"
    ---> n/a

if you were an animal, which would you be and why?
---> wolf: because haha... I have a lone wolf personality, I'm loyalty to my friends and family (pack), and have a strange urge to protect those I care for.

are you better at expressing your true feelings verbally or in writing?
---> writing them but I've been trying to be more verbal because I heard that it can get annoying especially in a relationship.

do you believe in meeting "the one?"
---> I don't know if there is a "one"... because I've had a strong connection with someone before but we're only friends. And as other's say what if your one is taken... is it replaced? I think that "the one" is who you make it.

do you think it's important to share a spiritual connection with your romantic partner?
---> people view spirtuality in many ways (religion mostly). So I would say no unless it interfers with the relationship. I personally have no religion but if you have a connection with someone why would that stop you... you should accept each other and not push one another.

and finally, how would you compare your view of yourself, to the view others seem to have of you?
---> I suppose it would depend on who you talked to and also see how our lives are different... because in most cases they will oppose

In a girlfriends dorm room... while her roommate was uh... well... shall we say, orally satisfying her boyfriend, in the other bed.

A mongoose!! Because the mongoose in riki tiki tavi is loyal, fearless, and good...

I think I'm better in writting. I get sorta shy when I try to talk to a woman face to face. :">

    >> do you believe in meeting "the one?"

yes... I already met her and we fell deeply in love. If she had lived, I would have spend a life time getting to know her as intimately as possible.

    >> do you think it's important to share a spiritual connection

Absolutely... there is nothing like sharing a lover spiritually, physically, and emotionally. It is the most amazing experience I have ever had.

I'm not really sure. I basically just do my best to be me and let other people think what they will.

Hmmm... this feels like a soft and squishy Myers-Briggs personality test!
Are you please wth the results so far, Jenn? <grin>

Here we go, answers IN CAPS...

where is the kinkiest place you have ever "done it?"
THE BEST ANSWER IS PROBABLY "IN HER EAR...:" BUT I'LL ADMIT TO NO SUCH OFF THE WALL KINKINESS!
THE PLACE? A SACRED INDIAN BURIAL GROUND

if you were an animal, which would you be and why?
    HUMMINGBIRD! THAT'S MY TOTEM...

are you better at expressing your true feelings verbally or in writing?
WELL... UHHH... GEE... PROBABLY IN PERSON, BECAUSE IT'S EASIER TO RELATE WITH SOMEONE ELSE WHEN YOU HAVE A CHANCE TO LOOK INTO EACH OTHER'S EYES.

do you believe in meeting "the one?"
ABSOLUTELY! I'VE DONE IT SEVERAL TIMES ;-)

do you think it's important to share a spiritual connection with your romantic partner?
WOW, YOU DON'T FOOL AROUND, DO YOU? THIS IS THE $64 GAZILLION-DOLLAR QUESTION WE POSE TO EACH OTHER, KNOWING THE ANSWER HAS TO BE YES YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES.

and finally, how would you compare your view of yourself, to the view others seem to have of you?
DEPENDS. MY FAMILY THINKS I'M TOTALLY NUTS, BUT THEY'RE TRADITIONAL IN THEIR WAY OF LOOKING AT THE WORLD. MY "UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING" IS CONFUSING AND THREATENING TO THEM, AND SO I KEEP MY "LIGHT" TURNED DOWN LOW WHEN I'M AROUND THEM; ON THE OTHER HAND, WHEN I'M AROUND HIGHER ENERGY PEOPLE (in their teens, 20s, 30s, etc.), I MAY APPEAR DULL OR SLOW BUT ONLY UNTIL THEY GET A JOLT OF MY PLAYFUL NATURE...MY 20-YEAR-OLD SON THINKS I'M COOL ENOUGH TO INTRODUCE TO HIS BUDS IN COLLEGE <snerk!>

    SO THERE YOU GO!

yes, i agree... like indulging yourself with a sensual massage while lazing in a bathtub two-thirds filled with warm, soft, melted dark chocolate, on top which is the final third consisting of an ultra-rich, thick, poofy layer of cool whipped cream... candles... incense... peaceful instrumental music played down low in the background...

        nice, huh?

    kinkiest place....hmmmm

In the back of our van while we had riders, and were traveling through Nevada tripping... the bathroom at a Flagstaff greyhound station...any bathroom we could get into pretty much. In the woods...up against trees near the drum circles(it was dark). In alley ways...In a wood working shop, on the table with the saws!...gas station... In the hot springs. My goodness, you name it, and well me and my ex...whew. He made life exciting.

I've been experiencing a bunch of flying dreams lately, so maybe an owl or a hawk. The thrill of wind lifting me up has had me completely disappointed on waking...because I keep thinking it's real, and I can fly.

Probably in writing, I think faster than I speak, and I find my foot stuffed in my mouth way too often.

"the one" yes....I've already met him. And while i was with him, I knew he was the one. Actually I knew the instant I laid eyes on him that he was the one. Whether or not there's more than one "the one"....that's my question.

spiritual connection....sure. depends on what kind of relationship you have. If you know you are rebounding, probably not as necessary as a sexual connection . But if you are in a committed long term, yes. I believe love in general is a spiritual connection.

I've never really thought about comparing my own self image to what others see. I don't really care how others see me unless I love them, and have a strong bond with them. And chances are, if i love them, they love me in return. I think i'm my worst critic, but at the same time I also am the most lenient and accepting. I accept and love myself for who I am, even if i never finish working through my issues and life lessons. Don't get me wrong, I'm always trying to work through my issues...trying to find more patients within myself and that place of inner calm and contentment. I wish I could stay in that place forever. But I won't stress myself out trying to find enlightenment. If the string is too tight it will break. Too loose, and the instrument won't play.

    * in the snow - but I could not maintain an erection to penetrate due to the cold

    * the attribute I desire most is to live a long healthy life like an elephant, alligator or sequoia tree
    * second would be wisdom like a wise bird

    * writing - I can go back and edit - once a spoken word is uttered, it is unrecallable + I usually think of something better later

    * yes - I have to be the one to meet the one - I strive

    * yes - I feel the spiritual connection is the connection - all other is the icing and the glue

    * I view myself as spiritually growing (& related attributes) that I am not able to express adaquately (see above) so others do not see very deeply into my soul

wow, this tribe has some amazing individuals in it.........once again, its so great to read such honesty and willingness to share.

lindsay......"love in general is a spiritual connection." thats so right on. i have never thought of things this way......thanks for saying that

okay here are my beans spilling...

~in the ice room of a fancy hotel

~a dog, maybe? loyal, unconditional love, playful, loves to go on adventures......or an owl.....wisdom, spirit, strength, beauty. things i aspire toward.

~definitely writing........like jim, i inevitably think of all the things i could have said later. i get shy easily, especially when its time to be intimate/sappy/mushy, and tend to clam up verbally....but can say just how i feel in writing....workin on it.

~i love what jim said about being the one to meet the one. how very "responsible" that is to say! i do believe there is someone incredible out there.......and i do feel like ive had a few relationships that felt like "the one." but not in every way..........they always fell short of what i dreamed "the one" would be like. hmmmm.........im a little bit confuzzled by my own question here. i hope there is that "one" out there but am not sure if i have much confidence that it is realistic to bank on it. ive got some un-jading to do, i know.

~i like to think i am pretty self-aware.........my version of myself might be similar to what others think of me. sometimes others view exceeds my own.....like people think im really sweet and kind......when i dont always feel that way, by any means. other times, people say things like that i am fiesty or blunt with what i say.....which is cool because that is the person i feel proud of being brave enough to be. i leave it to good friends to point out the things that i might be clueless about.
