Any suggestions as to what we should bring?
A little reconnaissance of the TLRS web-site indicates that wine might be appropriate ordinance to hump up to the front lines. It seems towels would be handy in the event the war is taken to the water and skirmishes break out in the hot tub. Speaking of skirmishes in the tub, is this a clothing optional tub or should we expect to bring uniforms?
Any other ammunition the troupes are likely to need? Chocolate? Lingerie? Velvet lined hand-cuffs?
I will be proud to stand (or recline) with my fellow brothers and sisters, to look the forces of prudishness square in eye, and to join my voice with the chorus in collectively (if only symbolically) uttering the three words the dark side most fears to hear:
"that felt good!"

P.S. Are the showers available as well? I'll be coming from work and it'd be nice to get a shower before hanging out at the event. If "yes" on the showers, how early can we arrive? -

Unfortunately we ended be rather unprepared.
The two bottles of wine, left in the car for the day, got hot enough to pop the corks up a 1/2 an inch and that worried us enough not to bring them in. We didn't realize it was a Black/Red theme and weren't exactly dressed properly. And we needed to leave by 11:00p to catch a decent ferry back to Vashon (and I don't think Kali Ma started spinning until around 10:45p).
But even given all that, we had a good time. The "bartender" was kind enough to give us a glass of wine. David guided us to Jeff who was very, very gracious and let us borrow some clothes to get into costume. And we got some good conversation in before we had to take-off
I regret that we had to leave before I got to complete my assignment and take my final exam to "tease somebody with my tongue". But I'm doing some homework and hope I can re-test next time.
And next time we'll do better wine-management (not leaving it in the car on a hot day) and make alternatives to the ferry so we can stay later.
But thanks again to everybody. TLRS is a groovy place to hang out, I'm hoping we get to spend more time with you folks in the future.
