Peer Educators are needed for our “Keep In Touch”
Breast Health Educator Team
Saturday, October 21st
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Do You
* Have a concern about the health status of Black women?
* Understand the need for “cultural competency” in relation to the African-American community?
* Have a willingness to commit approximately 20 hours of
your life?
* Have a ‘bit’ of public speaking experience?
If so, sign up to be a Peer Educator!
(and even if you don't sign up to be a Peer Educator!)
Peer Educators make presentations to Black women throughout Los Angeles on proper Breast Self Examinations and other topics related to Black women’s reproductive health.
A small stipend is available to those who successfully complete the one-day training AND join the ranks of our "Keep In Touch" team by making presentations throughout Los Angeles.
This training will be held on Saturday, October 21st, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. - location to be determined.
