what are the benefits of different types of pain meds? pills vs. smoke vs guinness vs and or other types of alcohol? why is one better than the other?
If it works, I mean.
If Im facing my mortality, does it really matter?

    It matters!!

It matters because we are ALL facing our mortality!

I'm facing my mortality! I've got 4 doctors appointments lined up in the next 7 weeks; the first one tomorrow afternoon!

It matters because some ways of dealing with pain mess up others things in our minds or bodies.

It matters because you are LOVED!

    It matters because I CARE!

    Don't get ME started girlfriend!!!!!!!

as stated we are all facing our mortality.... but if there is something bad going on and the doctors have givin someone xyz number of days, and you know that your days are numbered,,,, I don't think it matters, whatever helps a person get through the days...

This doesn't mean give up hope, but if I knew that I had 6 months, lets just say, I wouldn't want to spend them in bed moaning and hurting. I would want to injest whatever I needed to make what time I had left enjoyable to me.....

wise words, one and all. How strange the most of us don't care that their days are numbered too, or at least, don't want to see it. Why not ingest whatever we need to live our lives to the full anyway? that might be anti-depressants, insulin, whatever. Why should we wait until tomorrow to feel good?
So far, staying clean and sober has been the way for me to live it up and party hearty. And of course, bellydancing. Teaching, performiing, getting ready to perform, all of it is so fun for me.
Peace to all of you and yours...
