Our team, called ARC (Artistic Resurrection and Creation) will be the spearhead of the artistic influence within our Burning Man community, both local and national. Our primary goal is to challenge artists to create something that will Inspire, Engage, Question, Puzzle, Amuse, Seduce and otherwise Influence our citizens and bring the community together as a whole through the inspiration of artist and their works. By educating the community to the benefits of having art and interactive instillations within these event we are enriching our social network and creating a vast and unique experience that will reflect the artists creativity and inspire the visual as well as emotional and mental expansion. Secondary, our goal is to assist these artists to develop communal networks by engaging contact with public and or private institutions that can supply them with material resources, technical assistance, volunteer services and financial aid, as well as to educate individuals about guidelines, safety, and responsibility to the community pre and post event with their individual art pieces. By working with BRAF and the other regionals around the country we are developing a tight knit web of contacts and resources to be used to promote art and free expression of ideas on a physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual interactive level.
