ABOUT:
Fin de Siècle (or "end of the century" in French) is a new 7 track short album from Maduro merging breakbeats and world fusion progressions with side show sounds and marches from the turn of the century. Fin de Siècle is a degenerative audio snapshot capturing 100 year-old band sounds, carnival and circus progressions, broken organ grinders, as well as fragmented beats, dubstep, and hip hop accents.

thanks callisto - you must be plugging the disc in sweden, quite a few copies were sold there

i'm glad you like it, it is a departure from my previous sound and is sort of a experiment to capture a specific era and mood - just something to tide some over until the full length release next year which will be a split release with boston-based notecrusher

YAY! Sounds like people over here have good taste in music. :) I use it in class to make my tribal fusion students pick up moods and feelings instead of just firing off techique. It's so remarkably different and interesting. Totally lateral music wise. And that's why we love it. The sounds tells the body to move in new ways and new combos just appear to us while listening to it. :)

So there will be even more? Can't wait!!! Be sure to let us know about the next release too.

I love mine. I have been listening to it plenty. It was so cool to hear DJ Amar playing Glasseaters and Tinsel Tongues at the Blood Moon afterparty in Sacramento! It made think of home!
