I'm very proud to announce the release of my good friend Manko Eponymous' "Kaihealoha" album. It is available digitally on Amazon mp3, emusic, and other fine digital download sites. It should be on itunes in the coming weeks. Manko Eponymous is a Washington DC area tribal fusion electronic, spoken word, and rock/folk fusion artist. "Kaihealoha" is a great album from a great friend, made for a great friend and for the greatest cause.

Here are two good reasons you must buy this...

The first reason is that some of the proceeds will help support Kaihea and Manko's mounting financial constraints from medical costs; Kaihea is a pillar in the Washington DC tribal bellydance and fire community who has been fighting cancer for several years. The second reason you must buy this album is because it's a wonderfully rich mix of world tribal fusion electronica and powerful rock/acoustic ballads.

If you are looking for tribal electronic music to bellydance to check out "Eliseo," "Kummer," "Pura Dai," "Black Rook," "I Enigma," and "Alive," among others. The track "Kummer" has been sought after by many artists and renowned dancers for awhile (I've been looking to get a copy of this unreleased song for nearly 2 years). But outside the realm of tribal fusion electronica, other portions of the release explore a range of rock and even humor - see "the Melodia Song" for a good laugh.

This album is for a good cause and it's also a great body of work that I've personally waited to hear for several years. Download this release now on emusic, amazon mp3, or other digital download sites today.
