Siege, Maduro's most complex release yet, captures the archetypal
internal and external struggle between opposing forces, punctuated with
Middle Eastern and South Asian progressions, crunched break beats and
fragments, and industrial highlights. Siege features significant
contributions from renowned world musician Tim Rayborn. This is audio
warfare.

Sun, March 16, 2008 - 2:57 PMI am absolutely addicted to my two current Maduro CDs. I fall into an autistic fit if anyone tries to play the radio in the car lately. My belly dance troupe is dancing to Karakas. Haven't gotten tired of it even after 8 weeks.
So, did I pre-order?
Spouse and I have established an embargo on all things non-essential while trying to put two kids through college...

Sun, March 23, 2008 - 10:45 AMNow my students are coming to me asking about this record and when it's out. They have been introduced to Maduro's music, and they love it. I use it for ATS, tribal fusion and gothic fusion. :) Works for everything, except cabaret, perhaps. ;D
