The organization has agreed to develop a list of Saints to honor, not only as recognition of their services to mankind, but also to help define the values we share. A further call may be made shortly for sacred texts important enough to include in our Canon.
At this stage the public is invited to nominate for inclusion any individual they wish, preferably with a short summary of reasons.
Candidates names will then be circulated among members prior to discussion and canonisation. At the end of this process, the final list will be posted publicly.
Nominations may be submitted on this thread, or by emailing either the Canonisation Council, the moderator or myself.
As examples, the following are already under consideration: (no order). While somewhat predictable, each of these people has led an exemplary life, changed society or left an important legacy.
Pythagoras
William Blake
Mohandas Ghandi
Albert Einstein
Percy and Mary Shelley
Aleister Crowley
Jesus Christ
Martin Luther King
Gautama Buddha
Austin Spare

who left us with a vivid account of the visionary experience of meeting the AgathosDaemon...
(not the term he used)
in "Black Elk Speaks" we are treated to a detailed description of a classic Liber Samek type revelation
but in the archetypal language of the North American continent
(as it was at that time...i know that horses are not indigenous to this continent, but they had been integrated by then) -
