New to Magic

I am brand spanking new to the world of MAGIC. Any types or suggestion on how to get started?

I went to my local magic shop and walked out with a book called Complete Course in Magic, by Mark Wilson, and picked up a color Monte trick.

    Thats a good start. I would also recommend you find a copy of "Now You See It Now You Don't - Lessons In Sleight Of Hand" by Bill Tarr.

    Other than that the first three rules of magic - First you practice, then you practice. And when your finished practice some more.
