West End Dance & Yoga Studio
155 Brackett Street
Portland, ME 04102
Come and learn about the Northeast Belly Dance Association!
Discussion, potluck, and dancing!
Unfortunately, belly dancer Lily Moonstorm had to cancel Belly Dance Noir due to a conflict in her schedule.
Since we already have the studio, let’s make the most of the time! Bring your hip scarf, drums, questions, and a simple dish. We’ll provide cups, plates and utensils.
The Northeast Belly Dance Association is an organization that strives to spread enthusiasm for and knowledge of this beautiful and woman-celebratory dance form. We are a 100% volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization. As a member, your yearly membership fee of $10 goes towards running the Maine chapter's annual NBDA Member Showcase, and entitles you to participate in these showcases as well as get admission discounts for designated events.
The belly-jam will include discussion of what we as Mainers want to accomplish with the NBDA, the opportunity to join the NBDA as well as open dancing.
Join us in celebrating the beauty and uniqueness of Maine belly dance!
