I've noticed since joining this group that there really isn't much conversation going on. How come? Everyone shy or just busy? Love to chat and would really like to get to know more people. I will be moving to the portland area at the end of the month. Anyone interested in chatting just let me know. Always looking to make new friends.

I nearly always forget to post things here other than events. Do you have anything in mind that you want to talk about?

I'm open to talking about anything. I'm very open minded and just really like to get to know people. I'm also a knowledge junky so another reason why I like to converse with people. So let's start out with what everyone likes to do for fun. Myself, I like days when I can climb in my car, drive to where ever, stop, get out, and either walk or just sit and relax. Of course I also like to go out every once and a while. I'm hoping to get to go to more pagan events once I get moved down to South Portland, up here in the Bar Harbor area there isn't much for pagan events.

All the Pagan discussion boards are pretty quiet these days, not really sure why. For me, it's lack of time. It's pretty rare for me to have time in front of a computer when I'm not working for me or someone else to make the $$ needed to stop working for someone else entirely. So, these days I devote a lot of time to getting out of corporate America for good.

One thing to check out once you're in the Portland area is the Beans, Leaves & Deities discussion group that Joie organizes. We meet at the Portland New Church on Stevens Ave in Portland the second Saturday of each month from 2 - 5 pm. It's a great place to meet other area Pagans and have great discussions.
