When I start planning a trip, I first go to the CIA’s web page and look at there “fact book”. It gives lots of statistics, but no feel for the people. Then I look at the US State Dept. consular information sheet. Again, lots of facts. You can show us the heart and soul...or not...if you are in the mood.

First question: With the country separated by 250 miles of ocean, do these two areas have a distinctly different feel about them? Which do you like better?
Second question: Will you make me a sandwich?
Very cool tribe Antzy!

The East side
- have strong Malay influence compare to the West (All Malaysian kings reside there).
- total cultural difference than the west.
- have more offer in Island retreats
The West Side
- Native culture is more stronger (i.e. head hunters)
- have more nature adventure and world class diving spots
