Hello everyone!

I just want to extend a HUGE thanks to everyone who came to Elevation this year. It was undoubtedly the BEST time I have ever had in my oh-so-short dancing career, & I can't wait for next year!!! It's gonna be hard to top this year. What a diverse line-up!!!

Let's start at the top...

A GINORMOUS thanks to Ocean & Elizabeth. You folks have been there since the beginning of my journey in bellydance & are still here today. You both have taken me in & have been like my bellydance parents. Words can't express how much I love you folks. You have & continue to do so much for me over the years, & I hope that I can find a way to repay even a tiny fraction of what you have given me. I still remember back in March of 2006 when I first met you when you hosted workshops with Kami Liddle & Petite Jamilla in Denver during BDSS's Raqs Carnavale tour. My my... where has the time gone.

Thanks to Austin for being right by my side working through this weekend. You're one of my best friends, favorite co-workers, & dedicated students. I can't wait to see what we accomplish this year!!!

Thanks to Sheila for keeping us worker bees in order.

Thanks to Audrey & Dave for being so patient as we braved about 16 different climates to come get you from the airport.

Thanks to Rachel. It was so good to work with you again. Here's to another 50 hours of training under you. Thank you so much for all of your advice, constructive-criticism, for bonding with me in the dressing room, assaulting me after my performance, & pushing me out to take a second bow.

Thanks to Ariellah for being such a muse & helping me tell my stories. Can't wait to see you again. Don't forget that I got a baby for ya! ; )

Thanks to Onca & August for breathing in fresh cheekiness & passion into our performance practices.

Thanks to Donavan for putting your hooves to the drum & trotting out some of the most amazing doums & teks the Front Range has ever heard.

Thanks to Chris Copeland for being my favorite boss EVER!!! I'm glad you came up to see what I'm doing when I'm not at the hookah bar. We're gonna shake up the CO bellydance scene this year & next & beyond!!!

...& most importantly... THANK YOU TO ALL WHO CAME TO ELEVATION THIS YEAR!!! The Saturday show was the best show of my life!!! I hope to continue to shock & amaze you all. Your constant love & support makes me want to work harder. I hope to make you all proud someday. I'll be sure to let you all know how everything goes when I get back from LA.
