I suggest contact on of the Indian community organizations in the area and asking. You might also look for people who have trained in traditional Indian dance (I suspect there are actually several people in the Bay Area at dance schools or academies) in that its not uncommon for them to have been exposed to or have crossed trained in a martial art because of the unique relationship between some Indian dances and martial arts. I am sure Gauri can speak more to this than I can.

hi did you know that gauri is also the main actress's name in "Lagaan?"
        Good movie.
My favorite Indian movies are the ones made from rabindranath tagore's plays and short stories.
Also love "Salaam Bombay" and "Mother India."
        Yeah thats cool.
And all martial arts come from Kalaripayattu.
        And kalaripayattu comes from yoga.
And yoga is born out of Shankar Bhagwan's cosmic mind.
im nishith by the way, "Lord of the Night."
I came to america when i was a baby, am 23 now.
        anyone here smoke ganja?
