I spoke again w/ Marty last night and he'll be back in town at the end
of the month, before packing up and heading to Las Vegas to face the
next exciting chapter in his zany life. He wants to catch up with
everyone so he asked me if he could hold court at the Yankee on Tues.
Nov. 27th. So if you are so inclined, come on down/over/up to say
hello. We're going to set up a couple of mic's just in case anyone
feels inclined to serenade us, there just might be a musician or 2
coming over. We're going to start hanging around 7 and if there is
anything live going on it WILL be starting on the earlier side. I
sterss, no promises, this plan was just hatched a few of hours ago,
but who knows what could transpire. The bottom line is that Marty gets
a sendoff from his Bay Area friends. He asked to call it the 'Blue
Ball'. I didn't ask for details, but when you say the phrase "I'd give
my left nut for...." be aware of what you're committing to.
