In the last 4, 5 years, electro in the dance music scene has got lots of elements of music in it. Kraftwerk elements, house elements, funk elements, punk elements, rock elements, and so on... which is very similar to new wave scene in the '80s time.
Its very interesting and innovating scene at the moment. Mad Skippers would like to try to express the new sound from Tokyo as this new wave concept for the future. For all of us looking for that one groundbreaking collection of funky, electro classic this year, look no further.
The much anticipated pioneering compilation from the cutting-edge techno/electro label Madskippers from Tokyo Japan will make way to drop the ball on the end of October 2005.
Under the keen scrutiny of world-renowned DJ and producer Numanoid a.k.a. DJ Tsuyoshi, a perfect set of tracks were selected from artists that are known worldwide in the electronic scene and the rest that we'll soon to see explode from the label.
In a landscape filled with compilations in the widely expanding electro scene, this jewel of a selection takes a stab at what will soon be considered to many as 'Alt. Electro": new, catchy, and alternative sounds that will propel the world into an exciting age of a new genre. We shall expect no less from Madskippers.
