Jim Prescott: seed man

Dane Rudhyar coined the term "seed man" to describe visionaries who (duh) plant seeds of understanding that typically take time to germinate and become established and accepted. Jim Prescott is one such patient and persistent man.

"James W. Prescott is a developmental neuropsychologist and cross-cultural psychologist. For fifteen years he conducted research on origins of violence for the National Institute of Child Health & Human Development, NIH" until he was abruptly dismissed at the beginning of the Reagan administration in 1981 --halting the publication of a just completed major cross-cultural study of the origins of violence unpublished. Prescott felt devastated, and several years passed before he summoned the strenght to become a dedicated individual advocate of his research.
