    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;Performing a debut show during CMJ-Roots Tonic are taking time to perform without Matisyahu and coming to the Lion's Den this Thurs.  11/1.  
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Theres a great list of other performers for the night such as 2 members of Bad Brains, Dr. Know and Darryl Jenifer...also 10 ft. Ganga Plant--awesome name!
&lt;br/&gt;and headlining the show isDr. Israel w Dreadtone International.  
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;Lion's Den is 214 Sullivan St. between W. 3rd and Bleecker.

    <summary type="html">&lt;div&gt;i first learned of Matisyahu back in  Sept. of 2004 when invited to sell my art at the Chabad festival at Washington Square Park.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;the two preformers on the bill was Matisyahu and Piamenta.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;so....my art display table was set up about 10 feet away from the music stage.
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;i'm standing their minding my own business and all of a sudden i hear music starting that was obviously of a reggae flavor, then i hear this voice belting out a few...
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;and i thought to myself what is a reggae singer doing at a lubavitcher fair?
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;all i could say was WOW, the man has got it going on....
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;great timing, delivery, beats....
&lt;br/&gt;
&lt;br/&gt;just totally dig him.....&lt;/div&gt;
