How are you? Yes, 1st point, 2nd point, and then feel the difference between the two. Richard explains it clearly in his book. I like to multipoint myself. I love geometry, so i visualize geometric patterns, whether lines or curvateous, with a lot of different lights in different forms. Like, i've always been fascinated with greek/roman/indian/norse/arabic mythology, any myth basically.......so with matrix-e, i go to the Eleusyian Fields or to Mount Olympus or sometimes to Imladris........try Atlantis....... it's not about trying - that defeats the purpose.........you already know that the body temple is whole and well......from that premise you begin.....focus intent......then let go.....

It's okay to let your imagination play, for this is the field of imagery, its home. L O L (laughing to your stop and go allusion).....when you focus with intention, let it be with lovingness and visualization that the person is whole and well ~ this person is already a perfect enlightened buddha bod...hisatva......with healing rays and lights surging from the Divine, penetrating the surface or coming up from the deep (sometimes they sneak in from other angles and angels (beaming).....and relax, then let go, and let the Divine finish the show. Divine's running the show anyway. Your heart will plugged in automatically while you may be chitchatting with someone else, so long as you give it the best birthing in the beginning ~ it's like a matrix genesis when you begin with all the musical drama, and then, it can be fun or funny or funky....you may choose to be serious or lighthearted or frivolous and joyous.....

I just read your post sister! I am also eclectic in nature, and was a bellydancer, well, one can't say was.....can one? once a bellydancer, always, i have to bellydance at least one or twice a year in my living room when i'm alone. i never bellydanced to enertain anyone, just danced with sisters and the brothers who played the music, just watched. not into audiences unless i'm dancing, then i am bold. lots of confidence when dancing, i guess.

For myself, i just close my eyes to access it better, but then i open them, as my meditation teacher said, leave your eyes a little open so that you can retain the effects of meditation when you're tending to the mundane. Fog? (giggling)........i love fog!!! What i'm finding is that (come here and i'll whisper), the most desired and most seemingly unattainable thing in this world is too easy to have.........that's what makes it hard (chesshire cat grin).......it's just too simple! Trust your instincts (even though science for a while said we had none).....trust them, they are great guides, your instincts and intuition. We're all so individually different that what works for me may not work for you, vice versa. It's lovely to see the differences. I belong to a matrix and reiki practice group and i enjoy seeing how people approach those differently.
