Maya learning edition

I just noticed on the Autodesk website there is a freely downloadable learning version of Maya.

this seems very cool at first glance, anyone else opt to grab that ?

    Yeah, you can't output any animation you do on it though, gawddd damnit. Not even with tricky stuff like pringint out your anim curves and it won't let you write to an external file, damnit! However, good if you're just looking to toy around with the software and learn it, but you won't be able to transfer it to other versions of Maya, unfortunately.
