Every 500 years or so, the great light bringers come out of the closet, and manage to reach for their lucky stars, and lift everyone else out of the
bewilderment known as sin. Sin is the oldest name for the Moon. In the scripture `Leviathan 666 parts 1 and 2`, the spell of bewilderment that god (Goc in Turkish means `the cosmos`, the Hebrew reference to god is `the heavens`) puts upon mankind, is `the spell of Kingu`. Kingu is the Sumerian name for the Moon.
Apart from seeing that we are currently reaching that 500 year point right in these times, does anyone have any idea what could be causing this cycle? Ok, it might be expressed through the Moon, as all astrological influence is, but as the bringing of light is the issue, It should relate to Venus, and maybe the transits of Venus (June 2004+June 2012). The 99 Lunations that span this could be what Mohamed referred to with the `99 glorious names of Allah...........any comments?

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Sat, October 6, 2007 - 1:00 PMI think that the astronomical placements (not just the Moon or Venus in particular but that they all play a part) could be an indicator of something special taking place. Perhaps there is a set cycle of particular prophets, like the Bahai faith teaches, but to me Christ was more than an ordinary prophet being God in a body.

Wed, October 24, 2007 - 6:01 AMHere are a few thoughts rather than answers .
Could it be the arrival of special comets or fixed stars which are not always seen? -

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Sat, October 27, 2007 - 12:22 AMJesus seems different to me than other prophets. He was born in full knowledge of his life purpose while other prophets were chosen later in life and only attained wisdom after receiving revelations.
I dont know if he is the supreme god head, but he was more than an ordinary prophet if prophets can in any way be considered ordinary. -

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Sat, October 27, 2007 - 9:50 AM"He was born in full knowledge of his life purpose"
thats a hypothesis, at best. all prophets have become groomed to the message they were supposed to carry for their people.

Mon, December 31, 2007 - 5:21 AMWind is a comet about 4X Jupiter. It appeared some years ago. There was another GREEN COMET, all results were published in detail, some 500 MB of PDF material. sincerely, Klaudio Zic.

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Mon, December 31, 2007 - 5:49 PMFrom my understanding the Phoenix constellation was recently named - although the stars there have been for ages and the Phoenix ledgend very old. Wonder if some tradition followed before the name or if it was just paired? -

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Wed, January 2, 2008 - 4:44 AMTrue, it is an IAU constellation, requires some research...
Wind is or was a supercomet, yes, ... 2005 was a crucial year, precisely January 11th 2005, the turn of the tide....

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Wed, January 2, 2008 - 5:26 PMFrom my best understanding the Bahai base all their prophets, workings and holy people revolving around the number 9.
It would be refreshing to see the Federal Reserve not thought of as the countries darned "fixer uppers" of every thing. Even if they think that is what their purpose is.
For some silver
For some gold
U who use the spirit as speed
Curse the day you have sown your seed
All around us nothing but greed
U know U know U know U know....
BSM I changed it a bit though.
Neptune and Uranus has been quite interesting to me for some years now. But it seems a bit personal being heavily weighted in Aquarius and Pisces.
What is the Phoenix. The word figures in my upbringing. -

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Mon, February 18, 2008 - 1:53 PMastrologically the phoenix is related to scorpio...i've read it has three different animal associations, the serpent, the eagle and the phoenix.
altho i dont see how the plays into this disucussion...
if you use the november date for the birth of america it would be a scorpio, and with all of it's representing itself as an eagle, maybe it will phoenix one of these days soon. -

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Thu, March 27, 2008 - 4:32 PMI recently came across information that may be of interest, it's about certain conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn. I've not researched it but thought I'd share a portion of the text and link for you to look into if interested.
"The famous 8th century court astrologer, Masha'allah, produced some of the most influential work of this period, obviously drawn from the Persian traditions of the Magi. In his work, and that of his successors, we find preserved the peculiar Persian passion for the millenniums, and the role of major planetary conjunctions in the rise of great prophets, new religions, and new world orders, albeit reworked to fit the new Islamic revelation. In the recycled Magism of Masha’allah, certain conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn signal the dawn of new world ages, and heralded the birth of Christ and the rise of Christianity, as well as the birth of Mohammad and the rise of Islam."
There is more information and also a diagram of the conjunctions at the link - www.thestarofthemagi.com/mores...gi.htm -

This book sounds like a good read, adding more research to the matter. -

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Sun, March 30, 2008 - 12:24 PMSome more information upon the topic of a Saturn & Jupiter Conjunctions -
"On April 17, 6 BC two years before King Herod died Jupiter emerged in the east as a morning star in the sign of the Jews, Aries the Ram. The account in Matthew refers twice to the Star being in the east with good reasons. When the royal star of Zeus, the planet Jupiter, was in the east this was the most powerful time to confer kingships. Furthermore, the Sun was in Aries where it is exalted. And the Moon was in very close conjunction with Jupiter in Aries. Modern calculations suggest that this was close enough to be an occultation (eclipse). But the Sun’s glare would have hidden that event. Saturn was also present which meant that the three rulers of Aries’ trine (Sun, Jupiter, and Saturn) were present in Aries. Saturn and Jupiter were said to be "attendants" on the rising Sun, another regal aspect for astrologers."

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Thu, April 10, 2008 - 5:57 PMAround the birth of Christ there is also mention of a supernova which took place in the constellation Aquila (lasting for two months) at the time of the Jupiter and Saturn conjunction - Mars is also said to have been present also.
"historically recorded supernova which took place in the Aquila ('Eagle') constellation. The explosion (lasting a couple of months) was observed by Chinese astronomers and is also mentioned in the Korean chronicles. This supernova was presaged by a triple conjunction of Jupiter, Saturn and Mars in February of 6 BC. The combination of conjunction and supernova would certainly have been of significance to the astrologers of the day."

Re: THE PHOENIX CYCLE
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 3:06 AMIts 251 solar years (365.2422 days) to 157 Venus synodic periods, which makes 408 Venus orbits (251+157). 408 is three times 136, the 16th triangular number, triangular and tetrahedral numbers are found in abundance in planetary harmonics. One of the best harmonies of sidereal years (365.25636 Days) and Venus is 478 sidereal years to 777 Venus orbits. -
