Missouri Contemporary Ballet is a professional dance company that is committed to creating dance entertainment through the art of contemporary ballet as a resident company at the Missouri Theatre Center of the Arts, in Columbia, Missouri. MCB creates exciting, edgy, hip entertainment to make the experience of live dance the truly artful and joyful event it can be for all ages.

MCB gives new and emerging choreographers the opportunity to set new works on the company dancers in a positive, nurturing and professional atmosphere. We provide educational and outreach performances to schools, retirement homes, and throughout the Missouri area. MCB will maintain a full season at the Missouri Theatre along with a commitment to touring throughout the United States and Internationally.
