Yes the show was fabulous - and I was honored to be part of the lineup.

Thanks to the Djinn for bringing Ariellah here - and to Ariellah herself for putting us through a fabulous belly dance boot camp. My muscles are sore but thankful :)

Thank you so much for all the hard work that took. I was wondering if I was the only person who had every single mucle in my body achy at the same time...in a good way!!

It was great fun. And my muscles are achey today but in such a good way. I think I actually grew a couple more inches.

Ariellah was just a sweetie! And such a great inspiration.

Day 2 after the workshop and I still have muscles going "You are NOT serious!" Heeee. Ariellah is not only a fusion goddess, but a truly lovely and intelligent person, gracious and hilariously funny. She is also freakin' hardcore with the practice, so I am at once delirious with joy and newfound energy and utterly terrified. Rock on. Let's do it, people.

Ariellah had tremendous things to say about our audience, our show in general, and our performers in particular. We impressed her all the way around, and that is a great feeling. I think, actually, that we ... surprised her a bit ... and that is even better.

Life and scheduling challenges await, but I don't think we've seen the last of our inspiration, teacher and friend.

Boundless gratitude to all who came, drilled, watched, supported, and remain encouraging. Now quit reading and give me 50 chest lifts center, left and right! :-)

I would also like to thank the dames of Mischeivous Djinn for putting together such a lovely workshop and show last weekend! Bravo! I enjoyed every minute of my time in Minneapolis - teaching, meeting new dancers, working with all of you, and performing! Oh, and laughing, lots and lots of laughing! Thank YOU!!
