I realized that we don't really have a mailing list or BBS or Tribe or anything for the ME community in Calontir. We have dancers in dance groups and drummers in drum groups and no groups for any other ME performers of which I'm aware. In short, we have no dedicated "Middle Eastern Community" space for those of us who spend time playing with ME personas or activities.
I think having a community space will help with planning more ME activities and events, at Lilies and throughout the rest of the year.
So, I'm firing up this Tribe and see how many people want to participate.

I figured Lilies planning to be the initial source of topics--it's nice to have something else besides!

Vina, you *are* planning on coming to Lilies, ya? :) I mixed up a big batch of henna and froze it a few nights ago. Maybe we could plan to do a henna party some night out there. They've done them before but I don't think one was held last year.

ME Persona, eh? I should hear back on my alt name next month - Sulayman al-Rumi.
Still working on the details....but should be interesting anyway. I know he likes lots of drums and lots of dancers - not always in that order. ;)
Unfortunately, there is no Lilies War in this year's future for Sulayman (or Martinus). So....will just hope that some nice gentleman (or Larry) will let him/us/me do a bit of drumming sometime soon. Is very boring beating by yourself (on a drum!!!!! Sheesh you have dirty minds)
