Merhaba!
Just curious what classes that y'all can teach...or what classes y'all want to take. I'm trying to start thinking ahead to the Silk Road RUSH Symposium...
...but I'm also trying to pimp up ME classes for the Clothier's Seminar in February and for Lilies War.
There's so much I want to learn...I don't even know WHERE to start. But I _am_ working on a class to teach: Dressing the Safavid Persian Man. I've got quite a bit of research done, comparing notes on extant images and miniatures, dissecting notes and patterns that others have come up with...and trying to formulate it all into a nice handout that makes sense. Hopefully I'll have it done in time for Queen's Prize in January...but if not, I'll settle with having it done in time for Clothier's in February. [[Though I _really_ should get the handout done before December for the run-through of the class with my Shire. *LOL* The actual garb examples will be for January/February. *heh*]]

Re: ME Classes
Sat, November 10, 2007 - 7:39 PMWell, let's see. I am working on an ME dance class for teens, and younger. I have already said that I can teach hips, hands and a mudra class for dancers. I wouldn't be scared by a basics class, and I would like to see some advanced classes too. I am thinking about a Sufi poetry class also.
As for Indian, by the end of November I will be able to teach a Bhangra and a basic Kathak dance class.
