I know the ME classes are being scheduled separate from the regular classes, if possible. Layla, I gather, is organizing the classes in the ME area (as I was told my classes were being sent to her to see if they fit into the ME tent schedule). How much of the schedule is roughed out thus far, Layla?
I know Nakano is teaching drum classes, Thoron is teaching drum classes, and I'm teaching drum classes. Anybody else?
I saw dance classes on a list of classes open to beginners--what about intermediate or advanced dance classes?
Any other performance classes? Storytelling? Anything?
ME Garb making?
Impatient people (well, that would be me) want to know!

This is the list I have. It should be right, but keep in mind that something on it could have changed. It should give the general idea tho I hope. Sun, May 20, 2007 - 9:43 PMHey Jibril... looks like we're on the same wave. ;)
Larry... any chance you can give me a quick lesson on how to tune my drum sometime? Or is that something that requires more than a quick lesson? -

Re: Class schedule for Lilies?
Wed, May 30, 2007 - 5:42 PMJust joined today I've been a little busy and out of town for almost 2 weeks. I was home for less than 24 hours when I had to go off to be autocrat for Horse and Falcon. I responded to the RUSH cordinator when I first got home. One of the few things I did before I left for H&F. She had sent the e-mail on the 15th and I had left on the 12th. So I'm not sure if they put you in the ME Class tent or not. I told them it was fine by me since we don't have much going on the 1st weekend usually and it didn't conflict with any other classes. Every year they tell me they have to have the schedule by the 1st of May so I get everythig done by the 1st. When I saw they were potentially adding classes after that I asked if Mirabelis could be added for the ever popular and period art of poi starting Thurdsday- Saturday from 3-5. We usually have 25-30 classes scheduled for the middle eastern A&S tent and have had for the last 7 years that I've been cordinating them. I'm sorry to hear Martinus hasn't found our previous years of classes just as exciting as this years.
It would be great to have a henna party. I've done it in years past and have cordinated it happening for others to do it but I was frankly to busy this spring to get everything done that I wanted to. So any evening after Nakanos drumm class would be great. I think Monday night might be good or Tuesday afternoon before the Tor party.
I hope this has helped answer some questions. I will probable not be on here again til next week since I have the John Compton Seminar to get ready fo rthis weekend. See ya all soon! -

Re: Class schedule for Lilies?
Sun, June 3, 2007 - 3:22 PMWell, it's the Sunday just prior to Lilies and my classes still haven't appeared in the course schedule. I'll still be around to give the classes if anybody shows up.
I'll also have sheet music for melody instruments (in C, Bflat, guitar TAB) for some songs. I'd like to get some rehearsal time with the songs, too, before trying to perform them with dancers.
And I'll probably have some extra copies of a rhythm collection on hand, too, for those wanting to expand their rhythmic horizons a bit.

Re: Class schedule for Lilies?
Mon, May 21, 2007 - 6:46 AMAh Grrreat....(in the voice of a frustrated Scot)
The first Lilies I'll miss and the first one that has a class schedule worth attending. Sigh............
Makes me want to go knock a little ball with a crooked stick for a few hours.
